Van's Frozen Custard

Van's is a little family business started in 2007.

For years, my dad and I harbored the dream of one day starting our own little ice cream stand and with the amazing support of my mom and my wife, we finally made our dream a reality.

In September of 2008, another member was added to the Van's team as my wife gave birth to our first child, Sebastian. As my dad likes to point out, we now have three generations working at Van's Frozen Custard.

Even though Sebastian has become a main attraction helping Grandma at the cash register, we feel our frozen custard is the true star. Basically a very high-end ice cream, our custard is made fresh in small batches throughout the day. What you eat today, we made today. What's left at the end of the night is put into pints and quarts and we start over fresh in the morning.

We take no shortcuts with our products. The strawberry custard is made with real strawberries as is the raspberry custard, banana custard, etc. There is no bottle of flavorings. The Brownies & Cream is made with brownies my mom bakes here in the store. There are no store-bought brownies.

We take pride in what we do and hope to be around for a very long time. After all, Sebastian will need somewhere to work to earn gas money.
